Laser Data Command
The leader in
encoded card and high-volume production of laminated identification
cards, Laser Data Command, Inc. (LDC) uses unique laser data printing
techniques and today's digital technologies to bring identification and
security solutions to government and corporate clients. LDC has developed
PassPro a card encoded visual identification system specifically for the
airline industry to enhance passenger convenience and provide security
efficiencies. Similar card encoded membership and identification systems
have been developed for health care and other applications.
Additional offerings by LDC include high
volume production of low-cost, high-quality identification cards for use
in health care, financial, insurance, and a variety of other industries.
LDC also markets a multi-purpose, electronic interface card -the IMCI-81
to Automatic Teller Machine manufacturers and refurbishers
for use in ATM machines.

John
L. Barclay, Director, Chairman, President and CEO
Mr. Barclay founded Laser Data Command, Inc. (LDC). Working with a highly
Selected staff, he successfully pioneered the cost-effective integration
of data machinations to achieve, among many other complex document
capabilities, high volume production of two-dimensional symbology to serve airlines, health care, insurance
and manufacturing industries. Mr. Barclay served in a number of
management information systems and general management positions over a
thirty-year period with Lasermark, United
HealthCare and Burroughs Corporation.
George
J. Beaudin, Vice President Operations and COO
Prior to joining LDC as Vice President of Operations and Chief Operating
Officer, Mr. Beaudin was
Director of Applications Development at United HealthCare Corporation. In
this role he was responsible for the management of a large application
development staff supporting this industry leading health care
organization. Mr. Beaudin was responsible for
the management of several major re-engineering projects and for the rapid
systems consolidation of various business functions and health plan
acquisitions. Prior to joining United HealthCare, Mr. Beaudin
was Director Strategic Systems for Aetna
Health Plans. In this role he managed the systems development staff for
several critical applications. Prior to this position, Mr. Beaudin held several management positions with
various financial organizations and government agencies. He has achieved
the professional certification of Certificate in Data Processing (CDP)
from the Institute for Certification of Computing Professionals (ICCP)
and is a member of a number of professional organizations devoted to
systems development and project management.
Thomas
Vande Hei, Senior
Vice President, Industry Relations
Mr. Vande Hei served
as Director of Information Services of Northwest Airlines from 1994 until
he joined LDC in 2004. During his tenure at Northwest Airlines, he
achieved $20,000,000 of savings through telecommunications service
optimization. Also for Northwest Airlines, he coordinated an
international partnership (Europe and North America)
for consolidation of operations and services between Northwest and KLM.
As a board member for SITA, a global company that is a backbone of
worldwide commercial aviation, Tom played a key role in negotiating the
spin-off of a new company and the eventual sale to provide a
multi-billion dollar return to the shareholders of the parent company
(air transport community companies). He developed the information system
plan to support the corporate strategy for centralization of
transactional processes leading to improved service, increased public
image and 22% cost reduction. Prior to Northwest Airlines, Tom developed
a broad industry background serving in a variety of executive positions
Brown-Forman Corporation, United HealthCare Corporation, Honeywell, and
Pfizer.
David
Olson, Technical Productions Director
Mr. Olson is the director of technical products for the Company. Prior to
joining LDC, Mr. Olson was Senior Vice President of Lasermark,
Inc. He performed the duties of Production Control Manager at United
HealthCare, Inc prior to Lasermark.

Douglas
R. Laird
Douglas R. Laird, Vice President, BGI International Consulting Services,
Inc., is an expert in aviation security,
corporate security, and executive protection. Before joining BGI Mr.
Laird founded and directed Laird & Associates, Inc., a company
providing International Security Consulting for the Aviation Industry.
Prior to that he had a successful career as Security Director for
Northwest Airlines, Inc., He has published articles on aviation security
and fraud prevention in several international venues and has achieved
professional certifications of Certified Protection Professional (CPP) and
Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE). He is a member of a number of
professional organizations devoted to security, including the American
Society for Industrial Security (ASIS) and the American Association of
Airport Executives (AALAE) and has chaired the Airlines/Airport
Subcommittee of the ASIS Transportation Committee. He is an Alumnus of
the U. S. Department of State Overseas Security Advisory Council
Executive Board Mr. Laird holds a M.S. degree from the George Washington
University, Washington, DC and a B.S. degree from Minnesota State
University, Mankato, Minnesota.
Stephen
A. Luckey
Mr. Luckey served as a member of the Baseline
Working Group of the White House Commission on Aviation Safety and
Security; the Gore Commission, and currently chairs the FAA Committee on
Aviation Employee Utilization. He is the Chairman of the Air Line Pilots
Association's National Security Committee and is the U.S. Representative
and the Vice Chairman of the International Federation of Air Line Pilots
Security Committee. Mr. Luckey is an
internationally recognized authority on crimes aboard aircraft and makes
frequent presentations to professional law enforcement organizations and
the media. He has addressed the Congress of the United States Aviation Subcommittee on
passenger interference issues, the International Congress of Aviation
Organizations, the U.S.
Attorney's Office and many other Federal Law Enforcement agencies. He is
retired from a 33 year commercial flying career as an international
747-400 Captain.
Rear
Admiral Cathal (Irish) L. Flynn, USN (Retired)
Born
in Dublin in 1938, Cathal Flynn attended
schools in Ireland, France and Spain, and was graduated from the
University of Dublin, Trinity College, in 1959. In 1960, he was enlisted
and commissioned in the U.S. Navy, and completed Underwater Demolition
Team (UDT) replacement training, thus beginning 30 years active service,
predominantly in the fields of naval special warfare, joint special
operations, measures to combat terrorism, and international security
affairs. He served in UDT Eleven and SEAL Team One, led Seal detachments
in Vietnam
in 1964 and 1967-68, and commanded UDT Twelve. Later, he commanded the
naval special warfare forces of the Pacific Fleet, and was assigned to
the Joint Special Operations Command as Director of Operations and
Director of Exercises and Evaluation. In intervals between operational
tours, he served on the staffs of the Chief of Naval Operations, the
Commander in Chief, Pacific Fleet, and the Secretary of Defense. He
managed research and acquisition of combat diving systems in the Naval Sea Systems Command. He was
graduated with distinction from the Naval
War College
(Command and Staff Course) and the National War
College.
Promoted
to Rear Admiral in 1985, Cathal Flynn served
successively as Commander, Naval Security and Investigative Command (with
concurrent duty as Assistant Director of Naval Intelligence for
Counterintelligence and Anti-terrorism), Director of Plans and Policy, US Special Operations
Command, and Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Special
Operations.
Following
his retirement from the Navy in 1990, Radm
Flynn joined Science Applications International Corporation as a senior
analyst. He performed studies and analyses of international arms
transfer, and identified applications for advanced technology in military
special operations, counter-terrorism, and aviation security. He served
on committees of the National Research Council and the Defense Science
Board.
From
1993 to 2000, Radm Flynn was the Associate
Administrator for Civil Aviation Security in the Federal Aviation
Administration. He directed far-reaching changes of regulations to
improve air carrier and airport security programs within the United States
and abroad. He provided policy guidance for research, development and
acquisition of security technologies, and led a government-industry
program to deploy and effectively use explosive detection systems,
state-of-the-art x-ray machines, explosive trace detectors, and
computer-based security training systems. Working closely with the
National Security Council staff, the intelligence community, law
enforcement agencies, and authorities of other nations, he fostered
cooperation in policy, systems, and procedures to strengthen defense of
civil aviation against terrorist attacks.
Radm Flynn's awards
include the Defense Distinguished Service Medal (2), Defense Superior
Service Medal, Legion of Merit (2), Defense and Navy Meritorious Service
Medals, Vietnam Service Medal (5 campaigns), and Superior Achievement
Awards from the FAA and Department of Transportation. He has M.A. and
B.A.I. (Civil Engineering) degrees from the University
of Dublin and an M.A.
(International Affairs, East Asian Studies) from the American University,
Washington, DC.
John
Jarrell, Director
John Jarrell is Senior Vice
President, Airport and Desktop Services for SITA Information Networking
Computing (SITA). Based in Atlanta,
USA, he
has responsibility for implementing SITA’s
airport systems strategy worldwide, which provides a portfolio of
integrated airport solutions that allow customers to maximize resources,
combat congestion, enhance security, improve operating efficiencies,
reduce costs and provide new streams of airport revenue. Leveraging SITA’s experience in both airport and airline
solutions, John is also leading the company’s initiative to provide
managed desktop services to airlines, airports and other market sectors
such as aerospace, cargo and government. These integrated desktop
solutions cover the design, implementation and maintenance of the desktop
and local infrastructure.
John has a long history in the aviation and IT
services industry. Prior to joining SITA, he was Director of Airport
Sales-Americas for Electronic Data Systems Corporation (EDS) where he
launched its Airport Services Division in 1995 and was responsible for
developing several of its key business relationships. Prior to this he
was EDS’ Director of Marketing for the air transportation industry.
He has extensive knowledge and experience in air transport systems, data
communications and integration. A former military pilot, John once ran a
major US
army airfield and was a NASA astronaut finalist. He has a Bachelor of
Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from the United
States Military
Academy at West Point and a
Masters degree in International Management from the University of Texas.
In addition to his directorship with Laser Data
Command, John also serves as Chairman of e.Airports
Limited, a South African based developer of airport operational software.
